K3's Equipment - Telescopes
"When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have set in place, what is Man that You are mindful of him?" -- Psalm 8:3,4

263mm Dobsonian telescope. Focal length 1250mm.
I had a chance to borrow this big Dobsonian for a month. The quality of telescope wasn't very good, but we experienced nice moments with it.

The cannon shape of Dobsonian causes, that non-astronomer people mislead that it is really cannon. Once, when we observed Jupiter and Saturn in front of our block of flats, 2 policemen checked us, what we were doing. We had to explain them the difference between calibre and aperture.
600mm Dobsonian!!!
This telescope was borrowed by my friend Patrik who loves computer graphics :-)
