K3's Astronomy - Sky - Conjunctions
"When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have set in place, what is Man that You are mindful of him?" -- Psalm 8:3,4

Moon, Venus & Earth

During my return journey home from Q-2004 conference I had finally chance to see CLEAR SKIES.
I couldn't resist to take of photo, although the angle of shooting through a window was very bad. Even to hold camera in my hands for 1second exposure was not easy. But worth of trying!

Imaging condition:

Location: somewhere above Germany
Altitude: 11300m above ground
Air temperature: -63°C
Plane speed: 900km/h

Reflections are caused by shooting through a window in a very acute angle and inside lighting of plane.
If you look at the higher resolution picture you can see even the Moon part illuminated by Earth.
