Welcome to K3CCDTools home page!

Introduction

K3CCDTools is a Windows application dedicated for astro-imaging.
It includes video-capturing (supporting wide range of video capture devices), auto-guiding and frame aligning and stacking / summing.
It also provides simple image post-processing.
However, K3CCDTools is not limited to astro-imaging domain,
it offers to be used in various fields of video / image processing (digital photography, video pre-processing).
It also valuable software for processing of microscopical photos.

New features:
1, Added higher vertical resolution to the Drift Explorer graph - now you can directly select a more detailed scale for fine polar alignment
2, The limit of repeat count in the Video Capture Timer increased from 1000 to 100000.
3, Updated the Artemis.ini file to support the ATK-16HR cameras which return an empty Description string.
Note: If you install the new version over your existing one, the actual Artemis.ini is not overwritten, because it may contain your own settings.
So if you want to update it, back up it first, then delete it and finally install the new K3CCDTools version over your current version.

I have tried to prepare licence policy which meets expectations of different categories of users.
This policy offers the following approaches:

K3CCDTools 1 (Lite version)
K3CCDTools 1 version is free of charge for personal, non commercial use.
It is protected by a key which limits its running period for 3 months and is prolongated every 2 months FOR FREE.

K3CCDTools 3 is the latest version with a lot of new features.
